Frequently Asked Questions
What are proxies for?#
A proxy server allows you to hide your real IP address and replace it with another. This prevents restrictions from third-party servers. Main uses:
- Automatic account registration
- Multi-account management
- Web service testing
- Data collection (parsing)
- Traffic arbitrage
What proxy types are available?#
LTEBoost offers:
- Mobile (4G/5G) — IP addresses from cellular networks, maximum cleanliness
- Residential — real IP addresses from internet providers
- Server (IPv4/IPv6) — data center IP addresses with high speed
Mobile proxies are divided by the number of users: Shared, Semi-Private, and Private.
What is the difference between requests and connections?#
Multiple requests can be sent over a single connection. In the classical scheme, each request required establishing a new connection, which increased the load. Modern protocols (HTTP/1.1, HTTP/2) support keep-alive, allowing connection reuse.
